Neta designs non-destructive measurement systems using patented photo-acoustic technology. Resulting from a technological transfer from CNRS and the University of Bordeaux, it relies on interactions between laser light, materials and acoustic waves to dive into the heart of matter.
Our technology, non-destructive and contactless, transforms light into sound with acoustic frequencies above 100GHz. Designed with the aim of characterizing buried layers, it provides access to mechanical characteristics such as the thickness and adhesion of different types of materials.
JAX is particularly suitable for measurements on thin layers ranging from a few nanometers to several microns, whether opaque (metal, metal oxide and ceramic) but also semi-transparent and transparent. This 100% optical technology is not impacted by the shape of the sample.
